Cross Country
Furthering on from the information in the last newsletter, here is what most of the students will be waiting for - Track distances and descriptions!
We have decided to simplify this year while still ensuring that NCEA expectations are still met for those students participating in either 1.3/2.4 or 3.4 in Distance Running. Our course is classified as difficult, due to it being off road and over varying terrain at different points throughout the course, it is also requires a fair amount of agility begin a dual use mountain biking track!
We look forward to all runners and marshalls being onsite before 9:30 so that the marshalls can be briefed and in position, and the runners can be briefed and starting the first junior races by 10am. This is crucial to the smooth running of the day.
If you would like to help with the day please let me know (pip.hateley@nz.oneschoolglobal.com) before Monday 24th June and I can allocate you a job.
More information will follow closer to the day regarding sports activities for the afternoon.
We look forward to seeing you in Westport on the 5th July!!!
