YEAR 3 - 6

The wonderful creativity of the Nelson Campus juniors was on display during the final week of Term 2 when they held their art exhibition. This was the culmination of two terms of work around the theme, “Change”. The students had found inspiration from their visits to Motueka Sandspit in Term 2. With the expert support and encouragement of Nelson artist Tina Hanrahan, they experimented with a number of techniques and media including collage, charcoal, pastel, acrylic paint and model making.  With huge support from parents, especially Nicola Malcolm, Tina curated and framed the work then finally hung the art for viewing by school and community.

YEAR 7 - ALGEBRA MATHS

YEAR 9 - 10

On Thursday 4th July, the Year 9 - 10’s helped the local Tasman District Council plant trees in the estuary next to our campus. This was organised by Doug Brooks, our Horticulture and Science teacher here at Tasman.
