The Year 3 – 6 students from the Blenheim Campus walked out to the shipwreck of the TSS Waverly, which has been in its resting place since 1928. To get to the wreck, they walked across the Wairau Lagoons. Along the way, students kept an eye out for several items on their scavenger hunt. One of the items on the checklist was a spider, and they certainly found a big one! Once at the wreck, they had morning tea and sketched the shipwreck, before returning via the loop track.
