Campus Principal Message

Head Start

  • Head Start is the OSG programme to
    • Maintain academic rigour in Years 3 – 11 in the last five weeks of Term 4 after the senior secondary students leave to write their NCEA exams.
    • Provide an opportunity for students to get to know their 2024 teachers.
    • Teach the skills and processes required in the next level of learning with a focus on goal setting, planning and learning routines.
    • Begin students’ learning for the next level of learning five weeks early.

Over the last two week, the Y4-11s students have done extremely well and I am very impressed on their academic focus.

Campus Culture

Our focus points for the next five weeks, stemming from the recent Global CA meeting in Sydney.

Uniform

Uniform would be one of our areas we can improve. This is both being in the correct uniform, as well as wearing our uniform with pride. Neat, tidy and tucked in.

Attendance

In line with our Campus Culture, not one of the five foci, however just as important.

Be on time. School starts at 8:40am. ALL students should be at school by 8:30am. If students are not in class by 8:40am, this impacts everyone in that class.

If your child is going to be absent or late for school, please do one of the following before 8.30am

  1. Use the Edge App to notify the school of your child’s absence -

For instructions on downloading and using the Edge app, click here

  1. Email the School Office Administrator
  2. Phone in to the Office Administrator to record your child’s absence.

NCEA Examinations

Wishing our Year 11-13 students all the best as they tackle their External NCEA examinations. “STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE”
