Year 10 Science Gardens
For the first few weeks of Term 1 we have been learning about cells and how they grow and operate. To study cells in a practical sense we have decided to do a garden so we can see what the plants do over time. To make our investigation even more interesting, we are going to treat different sides of our gardens differently and see how it affects their growth rate and production. For example, we will give one side of the garden two litres of water per day but then give the other side four litres a day. Overall, we think it’s a great way to learn about how cells grow and develop, and we look forward to seeing what our gardens yield.
