The Upper South Junior School had a wonderful athletics day. The children participated in sprints, long distance running, quoit and vortex throwing, long jump, mini-relay and shot put.  Competition for house points was fierce, with Raiders final winners. The children who were demonstrating the OneSchool values in each event were recognized, and those with the most nominations were awarded with a certificate at the end.

All the staff agreed that the children behaved exceptionally well throughout the whole day, and the effort and participation were outstanding.  It was also noticeable how well the children supported each other during the events.
