Kate Williamson, Primary Teacher - Nelson
Kia ora. My name is Kate Williamson, and I am looking forward to being a part of the OneSchool Global teaching team and school community. I bring a vast array of teaching experience across the Year 3 to 8 levels and have taught in many Nelson schools. My family and I have lived within the Nelson district for over 20 years. My son and daughter are now both adults, and I have a grandson Emmett who will start going to school in Term 2. In my spare time I love exploring our wonderful surrounding area with my grandson and my dog Lily. I am looking forward to contributing to each learner's individual learning pathway, also collaborating and learning alongside the OneSchool Global teaching team.

Darriane Webb, Senior School - Blenheim
I have just excitedly moved up from Dunedin to join OSG at the Blenheim Campus as a secondary science teacher. I have a passion for all things science but in my free time I enjoy cooking, growing my houseplant collection and exploring the great outdoors – which will be a lot easier in the warmer Marlborough climate!
I’m looking forward to meeting all the wonderful students and families at OSG and I know we’re going to have a brilliant and successful 2023!

Our next Upper South assembly is scheduled for 09.00am on Tuesday 23rd February
Please ensure your children are in the correct uniform. High expectations of personal grooming and dress are expected here at OneSchool Global and we encourage all students to show respect by following school uniform guidelines.
- Summer uniform for term one and four
- Hair – short, appropriate haircuts for our young men and neatly tied back hair styles with appropriate token for our young ladies.
- Shoes will need a quick polish. Some students will need to check to ensure their current shoes adhere to the OneSchool guidelines.
- Only clear nail polish is allowed (transparent, NOT opaque, not french manicure)
- Check skirt length if your daughter has had a growth spurt over summer
- Socks – plain black or white
- Braid on blazers for students in Year 12 and 13
If students arrive at school in the correct uniform, well groomed, it is much easier for us to keep our standards high. As parents, we appreciate your supportive eye, checking their appearance before they leave home in the mornings. It is much easier to deal with grooming and uniform issues at home than once they arrive at school.
We thank you in advance!
Take a moment to show your appreciation to a staff member, student, parent or volunteer who has made a positive impact on you in the past week/s.
