Hello Upper South
Just a quick and final catch up for the end of the Term. It’s times like these that I am privileged to be your Principal for Upper South. Thank you all so much.
Wednesday was an amazing example of the skill and dedication of our staff, students and you at home as supportive parents.
Despite some minor issues with technology in places, we managed, within 24 hours, to move to a virtual school environment. An amazing shout out to our Y3-8 teachers and students who basically went from in class, in person teaching to online within 48 hours. Congratulations to you all.
Please pass on to everyone in your household my huge thanks for their efforts to make things work and their flexibility and adaptability.
Updates
Wednesday 15th April is start back date: We will all still be in lock down, so classes will continue from home. Remember to log in to your Whanau class at 8:40am.
The senior leaders have set up some House Challenge tasks, that go towards house points. See the overview below.
Below are a few screen shots taken by our staff over the last few days of all the work students and teachers have been doing online.
The school sites and playgrounds are now in Lockdown and have been sterilised, it is very important it stays like that till we return. This does not apply to Campus Trading. Thank you from the CA Team.
