The Year 3-6 students at the Blenheim Campus recently had a 'Wheels Afternoon' as a reward for displaying positive behaviour in the classroom. They enjoyed zooming around on their bikes, scooters, skateboards and roller skates. They had a great afternoon and managed to remain upright for most of the time!

Y7/8 Automated Electrical Circuits
Year 7 & 8 are exploring basic electronics and using a basic Arduino Uno computer board to programme and automate electrical circuits. Below are some pictures of students exploring and playing around with the basics of electrical circuits and components.

Listen!
Silence is when you can hear things.
Listen…
To the fairies fluttering in the air.
To the frogs tiptoeing on the lilly pads.
To the doves swooping in the night.
To the horses snorting after running down the hill.
To the fireflies gliding in the wind.
Silence is when you can hear things.
Listen…
To the spider stalking its prey
To the dew dropping from a leaf.
To the ants sneezing on a stone.
To the butterfly whispering to the beetle.

Listen!
Silence is when you can hear things.
Listen…
To the stick insect stalking his prey.
To the grasshopper bounding in the wavy grass.
To the ants scampering across the log.
To the crickets humming every minute.
To the spiders creeping up the vine.
Silence is when you can hear things.
Listen…
To the ladybirds tiptoeing on the flower.
To the rain pattering on the roof.
To the butterflies whispering to each other.
To the eels slipping between the rocks.
To the caterpillars arguing about who is going to be the best butterfly.
