Recent Marks That Have Come In
Below are some recent marks that have come through for our senior students.
Nelson Campus Year 3-6 Activity Day
Photos below are from the Year 3-6 activity day on 25 March.
We had four activities for the students to complete; mini Olympics, cooking Anzac biscuits, making poppies and hanging out with Mr Rogers' dog (Georgia).
It was great fun for staff and students alike.

Nelson Campus Year 7/8 Technology
Below is a collage of some of the images created by Year 7 and 8 Technology class in which we studied photography this term.
Each student created a photography exhibition display for the recent Grandparents Day which showed their interpretation of the big question: How can something small make a big impact?
Nelson Campus Grandparents Day Photos
On the 29 March Nelson campus had Grandparent's day.
This day was a great success as many grandparents came to see what their grandchildren are up to.
Years 10-13 made lunch which was somewhat successful!
Below is a collection of photos from the day.
Nelson Year 7/8 Grandparents Day
We have been learning about the significance and impact of Anzac Day. We researched Anzac Day, crafted poems and artistically created Poppy art.
On Grandparents Day, we displayed and shared our learning. We also baked Anzac biscuits. Our young chefs put them to the test!
We asked our Grandparents to rate their biscuit out of 10, then we learned about averages and working out the mean score for each group.
We found our winning Anzac biscuit bakers! Congratulations to Romane, Melita and Lainee with their score of 8.9/10.
Thank you to all our Grandparents who attended Grandparents Day. It was an absolute pleasure to have you with us.

Blenheim Campus Grandparents Day
Blenheim welcomed several Grandparents on Grandparents Day.
Grandparents went through the different learning spaces at the campus and saw how students worked via Zoom and in classrooms.
A delicious lunch was prepared by the seniors.
Thank you to all our lovely Grandparents who came for the day!

Blenheim welcomed five Year 2s for the day on Tuesday 30th March. It was a fun filled day and everyone enjoyed seeing their friends and eating a shared lunch.

Grandparents Day!
Grandparents joined students on the West Coast campus and really enjoyed their time with their grandchildren on Grandparents Day.
All the grandparents arrived at 11:00 and headed straight to the junior block where they listened to juniors singing Ten Thousand Angels, Keep on Singing, and Rusty It’s Goodbye.
Then they listened to a story that the juniors wrote called Zoe Zero. After that, they went to the 7-8 classroom to watch the Year 7 and 8s act out the play “The 4th Little Pig.”
Then while the Grandparents waited for their lunch, they lined up outside the photo booth that the Year 9-12s created to have photos with their grandkids, or for some of us, their great grandkids!
The Year 13s cooked lunch and we all enjoyed it very much.
A big thank you to everyone for the fun day you put together!
The West Coast students enjoyed having a pizza lunch due to Upper South being in the top three campuses across NZ for the 2/3WC competition.
Regional Athletics Christchurch
Regional Athletics took place on 25 March. All South Island seniors met in Christchurch to compete in a range of athletics activities.
The day was a great success and THE WINNERS WERE WARRIORS!!!!
