Following is the Term two, Week eight Upper South NCEA reports.
Fundraising Morning Tea - Blenheim Campus
On Thursday 1st July, the Year 11 and 12s worked together to produce a morning tea to fundraise for the Year 13s leavers jackets.
We sold cookies, milkshakes, sausage rolls and delicious marmite and cinnamon scrolls made by Mrs Ju Hewetson!
We managed to make a large sum of $150 to put towards the jackets!
Keep an eye out for the next morning tea for more fundraising.
Feedback from the students:
“The scrolls were the best I’ve ever tasted” - Beau Fisher
“Thanks Mrs Ju for the scrolls!” - Lily Fisher
“Good tucker!” - Tyrone Faulkner
“Great variety of food! Loved the drink option this time” - Poppy Fisher

Poems and Stories - Nelson Junior Class
Following are some poems about nature and a couple of recounts from cross country.
Taz Talent Day - Nelson Campus
Nelson campus - below is information you need to know about this awesome day!
Cross Country Collage - West Coast Y3-6 students
After a wonderful US experience, West Coast Y3-6 students have created great Cross Country Collage artworks by following the Success Criteria.
The artwork needed to:
- Use different textures
- Show movement
- Make the artwork’s creator the subject
- Support the creator’s Cross Country writing
Year 7 and 8 Tech - West Coast
Following are some photos of what our Year 7 and 8 students have been working on in technology on the West Coast.
They have been lucky enough to have Anne-Marie French come in once a week to teach and help the students make their own aprons.
This has taken a lot of patience and perseverance but their finished product will all be worthwhile.

On Tuesday morning the West Coast Year 7-11s completed a small cake competition during form time period.
The competitors were split into two different groups and had to ice and decorate a cake with a Kiwiana theme.
Two great cakes were made and the winning cake was the New Zealand map with famous landmarks.
