Urgent: Re-enrolment and ICT Agreements
Student re-enrolment forms and ICT agreements were originally due on 01 October.
Students will not receive their 2022 devices if the signed agreements are not returned by Friday 12 November.
Junior | 2022 Year 4-6
Senior | 2022 Year 7-13
A reminder that all students start at 8:40am.
This is the time the first bell rings. You need to be at school by 8:30am in order to have time to unpack, catch up with friends and get ready to begin the day.
The morning before school starts is a crucial time of day, and children who are late find it hard to settle.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
Recognition of Excellence Ceremony - Friday 10th December
Dear All
No doubt you are excited for the upcoming Recognition of Excellence Ceremony on Friday 10th December and are looking forward to celebrating our students' success from the 2021 school year.
In the climate we are in currently, with changing Covid-19 alert levels and the restrictions that are imposed on us as a school, we would like to inform all students, parents, staff, and the wider community that the Recognition of Excellence Ceremony will be held as a completely virtual event via Zoom.
This means students, parents and the wider community will join via Zoom from home and staff are expected to join from their local campus where possible.
As unfortunate as it is, there are important Government guidelines to abide by with regards to gathering sizes at campuses in Alert Levels 2 & 3.
However, the virtual element to this event will not impede on celebrating our students' success. It is a chance to recognise the efforts and incredible dedication students have put into their schoolwork during yet another tough year.
Further details about this event will be communicated in the coming weeks. Please keep an eye out for this!
We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and support, we look forward to seeing you!
Regards,
OneSchool Global National Support Office
Welcome to Gemma Hunt - Blenheim Campus
Welcome to Miss Hunt who will be joining the Blenheim Campus at the beginning of 2022.
Miss Hunt is a qualified Secondary school teacher who has worked at Marlborough Girls’ College as an English and Classical Studies teacher and Assistant Head of Department, English.
Miss Hunt will be relief teaching on Friday's this Term, so Blenheim families will have the opportunity to meet her before her official start date next January.
Year 7/8 Nelson/West Coast Art
After our visit to the Suter Art Gallery, we have been exploring other ways to create 3D sculptures.
We used plaster to create figurines and coloured paper to create an abstract design using a symmetrical effect.
Enjoy our paper mobile and figurines!

Whiteboard Table - Greymouth Campus
It feels like we waited forever but it has finally arrived!
The Greymouth Y3-6 whiteboard table!
Already it is becoming one of the best tools for learning in our backpack, we can use it for everything.
Thanks to our CA team. We love it so much we are ordering another one for Westport :).
West Coast Teacher Appreciation Day
On November 2nd, our class began to bake,
To thank the teachers for their time and baking them pancakes.
Some mixed up the batter, some flipped them while they cooked,
Some did the presentation, the amount of time it took!
Gianni helped as well, by cracking eggs by hand,
And then we mixed the batter and poured them in the pan.
The first batch was like rubber, all slimy and all tough,
So, we changed the recipe and then they tasted like fluff.
We cooked them till they browned, and then stacked them one by one,
Poured maple syrup, cream, and berries, oh they looked so yum.
We put a little quote, to brighten up their day,
Beside the stack of pancakes and gave them all away!
The day was a success, we satisfied the staff,
And we all learnt to work, as a collaborative class.
