Upper South Junior Athletics, 8:40am – 2:00pm, Friday 18 March 2022, Saxton Field

This Friday is Junior Athletics day. As Junior Athletics is being held separately from Senior Athletics this year, we will be able to make fuller use of the facilities at Saxton Field than in previous years.

Spectators are welcome, however, due to Covid restrictions, they are required to be separate from the children.

The children will remain inside the track area the whole time, only leaving to use the toilets at the far end of the stand. Spectators are asked to use the toilets nearest to the entrance.  Please complete the spectator registration form below.

Children need to bring the following:

• a large drink bottle filled with water
• a packed lunch and snacks
• their school hat

The children will need to wear their PE uniform. If they have a house t-shirt, they may wear this on top, or their PE shirt.

We need the children to arrive at Saxton Field at 8.40 am, their usual school start time, and we will hold the briefing shortly after that. We aim to finish at 2.00pm. Pick up for all students is at 2pm at Saxton Field.

This year, we will present the awards at an assembly back at school at a later date, so that families who are travelling a distance can get away.

We will need a number of helpers to assist with running the events. If you are able to help, please could you complete the smartsheet link below.
